Do you hear that? Whats that sound? Is there a sound? NO!!! What an amazing thing to hear.. Nothing, nothing at all. 7yo is at school while the new baby, 3yo and mom all sleep on the couch. The silience is amazing… I will have to wake 3yo soon since he has a play date down the street. For now I am enjoying the “Sound of Silence.”
I have been able to do a little blog Hopping while I eat lunch and will soon get some work done. Having the time to myself in the middle of the day is AMAZING!!!
Pictures… Well I did take pictures of the three of them on the couch, but since I like being married I will not post them. If it was just the boys sure, but with mom in the picture too I think she would not take kindly to how it turned out…

Oh I am soooo jealous! Our son is quiet, but his toys are loud! We purposely did not get him noisy toys. Then Christmas came and every toy that others bought him makes some kind of racket. He likes getting multiple toys sounding off at once. Kinda like a very bad symphony orchestra playing folk songs and lullabies…
I know exactly what you are saying, we have a 2, 3 ,5(x2), 11 and 17 yr old in the house and the noise is almost always deafening. Its been a long time since I have heard that complete silence. Enjoy it when you can.
isn’t is funny, when I was younger I always cranked my music up as loud as possible, or had to be surrounded by a group of friends. Now that I’m a mom, the best feeling in the world is the sound of silence and some alone time!
